It’s the first week of the New Year, and already we’re bombarded with lists upon lists of Best New Year’s Resolutions. Albeit inspirational and positive, they’re flooded with the usual suspects—lose weight, quit smoking, be less stressed, read more. What about the positive resolutions you can make that nurture your lifestyle as a family? Because this is our top priority, we’ve put together a three-part series of New Year’s resolutions for the whole family!

Who knew that ol' Chuck knew and understood our seasons so well (especially in the Northeast and Northwest corners of the country??

But believe it or not, Spring is here (officially at least): baseball opening day and spring break is around the corner, trees are blossoming and parents and children alike look forward to escaping the indoors and enjoying the outdoors.

The Kids Table

While you’re picking out table cloths and place-mats and dusting off your best china for Thanksgiving, have you thought about how to make “the kids table”more than just that?

We suggest turning it into a “keep-them-busy-while-you’re-cooking-and/or-watching-football-and-entertaining, table”. How about some great activities and games that will keep all the kids from going nuts with boredom?

For example, the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey line of products offers a bunch of exciting activities for kids of all ages.

The weekend is fast approaching and maybe this is the first obligation-free weekend you’ve had in a while. Whether it’s time all to yourself and friends or with your kids, why not take this weekend as an opportunity to celebrate history and heritage by playing some of our favorite classic games that we’re sure everyone will love.
